Zeke: Baby's First YEar


Watching a baby grow through their first year is such a special experience, and photographing Zeke’s journey was an absolute joy. From those early days spent in the cozy comfort of home to adventurous moments on the dunes, every session told a unique part of his story. Capturing the little details—the tiny fingers and toes, the family’s laughter, and the way Zeke explored the world around him—allowed us to create a beautiful collection of memories that his family will treasure forever. Each milestone brought its own magic, and together, these sessions highlight not only Zeke’s growth but also the love and connection that surrounds him every day.

Newborn session

Zeke’s journey began with his newborn session in the comfort of his own home, alongside his mom, dad, and their golden retriever. We focused on the living room, taking advantage of the natural light and clean, cozy background, and also spent time in Zeke’s nursery, capturing the details that made this space so special. This session was all about those early, quiet moments of family life—tiny fingers, soft blankets, and cuddles that parents want to remember forever.

One year session

A year later, we celebrated Zeke turning one with a session on the dunes at Warren Dunes. This time, the focus was on adventure and exploration. Zeke had a blast climbing the rolling dunes, laughing and playing with his mom and dad. We wrapped up the session at the water’s edge, capturing playful moments by the waves and the magical light of a Michigan evening.
